A Precious Gift From Mama To Baby

"Will you breastfeed your baby?" I was often asked this question when I was about to give birth to my first baby.

"Oh yes, maybe for 8 months." I replied and very often greeted with wide-mouth and wide-eye with unbelievable look on their faces.

Well, not only did I exclusively breastfeed Adriel for the first 6 months, I could also continue to do so until I was pregnant with Jeriel 2 years later. And I was back to work after Adriel was 3 months old.

As for Jeriel, I did exactly the same thing until he was 1 year old when he voluntarily weaned himself.

I was fortunate that breastfeeding came naturally to me and my babies. I did encounter difficulties from time to time but with perseverance and determination, mama and babies were happy again in the end! Thank God.

It's been 8 years since. Looking back, I've no regret in breastfeeding my babies. I'm glad and proud of what I did for them. It's the best gift I could give them in the first year of their lives.

I hope my Breastfeeding Experience will inspire more and more moms to breastfeed their babies. May all mamas have joy in the process of breastfeeding. God bless.
